The 3 minute video below summarizes the first 1.5 hours after the twins were born. It takes a little while for them to walk, but they already have the instinct to nurse. Skippy has never nursed and kept backing away from the twins. Finally, the twins and I backed Skippy into a corner, where Skippy accepted the inevitable and nature took its course. Notice how even at 90 minutes, the twins know to butt the udder with their heads of the mom in order to get fed.
The twins are fine this morning and Skippy seems to be feeding them.
Below is video of Demie this morning. She is now 8 days old. Demie stays close to her mom when she is in the open.
