A new Honey Crisp Apple tree has been added to the orchard. It was a gift from our sons. It is pretty large and already has apples. With luck, we may get to pick an apple this year.
The Purple Martins have definitely settled into their new homes and are enjoying their surroundings. It won’t be long before the new purple martins from this year make their presence know.
The Blackberries are truly abundant! (I guess the bird netting really worked.) We will be back at the farm in ten days and plan on picking blackberries on that trip.
