Peanut has responded well to the medication and has managed to clean all of the Pepto-bismol off of her mouth. Peanut is energetic and showing no signs of illness. There are seven female goats (Miracle, Skippy, Padme, Einstein, Tsunami, Peanut, Butter), and one male (Fool). Einstein and Tsunami are twins and were named by Ike and Quinn. Peanut and Butter are also twins. Five of the older female goats appear to be pregnant. Butter and Peanut were born last year and do not appear to be pregnant.
Lots of rain is expected at the farm this week and over the weekend, so we may not be going back until early next week. We will be putting up the “kid cams” on our next visit, so we can watch over the herd and the new Kids from our phones. We look forward to sharing those videos with you.
