Today was a two fish day, so we headed to Faraday. The pond was beautiful in the early morning.

Bruce caught a 4.3 pound bass on a purple worm. Since nothing seemed to be biting after the first hour, Bruce trimmed trees instead.


Just below Natchez Mississippi, we were able to get pictures of this cotton field during harvest. Look at all the cotton near the road in the first picture.


After we finished fishing today, we were greeted by the owner’s dogs. We soon realized that the dogs were chasing the mice into the lake. Did you know mice can swim? Watch the video below that we took of mice swimming.
Note the moss growing on these cypress. This is because the water is low and the conditions are perfect for moss. We also saw a family of ducks, some bream beds, and a heron.
