Plaquemine had fireworks for the 4th of July.
After a week in the heat without water, this Periwinkle was very unhappy (left).
But look at the same plant two hours later after getting watered (right). Amazing that this plant could bounce back that fast.
This is a striped Barbados Lilly (below) which is a species of Amaryllis. It is blooming now in July.
