Goats require an injection at least once a year. A new kid gets its first injection at three months old. The new kid requires a booster three weeks after the first injection. Our youngest kids were three months old last week, so this morning was injection day. Craig held the goats and Dr. Bruce gave the injections. We have a temporary pen that the goats enter happily when they see the food poured in the food trough. The smaller pen makes catching each goat much easier. Brenda is holding the injections in the picture below. The injection is for Tetanus and Clostridium.

Flowers on the fence are from the plants from Amelia and Quinn. The pumpkins are continuing to grow larger. Soon it will be time to use the tape measure on the pumpkins.

Watering all the plants has been extremely time consuming in this heat. Craig decided to install a sprinkler system on timers.
