Watch the kids play and Learn about kids nursing.

The twins (April and Fool) and the triplets (Peanut, Butter, and Jelly) are playing on the playground. Watch them hop from place to place.
April and Fool are 18 days old today. They hear their mother calling them to nurse and are running to find Miracle (their mom).
Nursing your kids is rough business in the goat world. Kids should nurse for at least 8 weeks after birth. However, most kids start to supplement their diet by grazing in the first and second week of life. Kids will continue to nurse until mom decides to ween them. Some moms continue to tolerate nursing for four to six months. In order to get the milk to flow, the kid butts his mother’s udder. As the kid gets older, he or she becomes more enthusiastic with the butting.
