Grandparents Camp (Part IV)

The Campers built a new scarecrow to replace the old one,

Below: The old scarecrow is on the left and the new scarecrow is on the right.

Below: Grandad cut a watermelon that he had cooled. Seems like most of the campers knew exactly how to make short work of the watermelon.

Below: Every camper had to use the drill and electric screw driver to make a set of steps for the goats. Goats love high places. The steps were placed in the goat play yard. Miracle has claimed the steps as her own and has not been very good about sharing.

Below: By Sunday, we headed to Baton Rouge. Since a stop at Sonic for ice cream has been traditional, we all had lunch and /or ice cream at Sonic before visiting the Knock Knock Museum in Baton Rouge,

Below: The art project that failed to arrive in time for the farm was waiting on the front steps in Baton Rouge, It was started, but not completed on Sunday. On Monday morning, the campers kissed Grandad goodbye and shared his stash of ice cream before loading into the truck and heading to New Orleans for the last day of Grandparents’ camp.
