The bad weather brought tornadoes, flooding and lots of damage to parts of Louisiana and Mississippi. Fortunately, downed trees washed out plants, street flooding, and a partially sunken boat were the worst of it for us.


Below: This boat did not do well after the last few rains on one of the lakes in Louisiana. Luckily, it sank in shallow water and bailing it out was an option.



Below: The Peggy Martin (Katrina Rose) got tested in NOLA again. Good thing this rose is know for surviving flood waters.


Below: We planted four plants and returned to two. After the storm, the two plants on the bottom of this picture were found under the fence four feet from their original spot.
