The new kid weighs about one pound. She is about 7 inches tall. Most of what you see is her coat because her body is very tiny. As you saw from yesterday, the new kid is learning to hop. Most kids are very playful and hop like bunnies to keep up with their mom or to play with the other kids.
Below are the most recent pictures from the trail cameras. The deer on this property all look very healthy. We do not own the dog you see. Obviously, dogs roam freely in this area, even if we would prefer the dogs stay on their owner’s property.
BELOW: The blueberry plants have no leaves, but the flowers are budding out. We are hoping for a healthy crop of blueberries this year. We do plan to cover the plants with bird nets so that the humans get the blueberries instead of the birds eating the blueberries.
