Below: A great blue Heron visited the goats this morning. This bird stayed with the goats for quite some time before the goats finally left the heron behind. The heron eventually followed the goats around the pond to the log (this blue heron’s favorite fishing spot) and caught his breakfast before departing.
Ike cut the lettuce for dinner and then discovered that the carrots planted on October 10th were also ready for harvest. The carrots are not very straight, but they were sweet and delicious. We will wait to harvest some of the carrots so the cousins can help. Ike also found out that not all of our goats think that the lettuce is delicious.
