Goats should receive an injection once a year, however new born kids receive this injection at 3 months old and again three weeks later. Today, the kids received their second injection and none of them were very happy about it. The first picture below is of Peanut on the left and April on the right. Bruce has decided that April needs a bath. April is our smallest goat and hides to avoid getting pushed around. She always looks dirty. April’s mom, Miracle, is still very protective of April. Note: In the first video below, April can squeeze in at the trough by her mom with no problems.

Below: Goats of the same family usually stay together. In the video below, Butter, on the right, wants her sister, Peanut, to follow her. Peanut, left, still has her eyes on the feed trough. Eventually Peanut wins, and they both return to the feed trough.
Below: Only three days after planting the cantaloupe and honeydew, there are plants sprouting. Flip through to see the pictures.
Below: The Adrian Chopin family and Lydia are in Canada to see lakes and enjoy cooler weather. Hope you all have a wonderful time! Pic 1: Rena, Lydia, and Nick, Pic 2: Karin and Adrien join the picture Pic3: Family on the Banff sign. Pic 4: Moraine Lake Pic 5: Family at Lake Louise.

English Tip of the day: “There and Their”; Just remember, put an “I” in the one that owns stuff (possession). Every other time, use there. “They went to the lakes. I have been there.” “They all took their sweaters.” “There are five people traveling”. “Rena and Nick are traveling with their grandmother.”
