We checked 4 Blue bird houses. We found a nest with 3 eggs, no nest, a nest with four eggs, and a nest with baby bluebirds.
Blue birds build the next together and then the mama lays the eggs. Mama does not sit on the next until she has all the eggs she wants. Most blue birds lay 4 or 5 eggs before they begin sitting. Both mom and dad feed the young, but dad removes the waste from the next.
This is the house we checked a few days ago. There are still 4 eggs and we have not seen much activity on this nest.
This house has baby blue birds. The video below shows the young birds. These birds already have feathers. It won’t be long before they fledge.

My boys sent me 4 new blueberry plants for Mother’s Day. The plants are a hybrid called Southern Bluebells Blueberry. They were shipped a week ago, but just arrived, so we were anxious to get them into the ground and watered.
The new Blue berries came from The Tree Center Plant Supply Co.
