We have definitely had some ups and downs with the birds of the farm. The Guinea fowl experiment was a complete failure- NOT ONCE, but Twice. We raised 24 birds, moved them to the Guinea House- they escaped and were never seen again. We reordered, raised 24 birds to much bigger birds and allowed them to go into the fenced goat yard. All we found were feathers when we returned.

Now we just try to accommodate the birds that survive in the wild at the farm.
This large heron was fishing on Saturday morning. He or She visits the farm at least once a week. (Maybe more, but we only see it about once a week. Hopefully, I will learn how to post movies of this bird fishing.
